Frumpy, lumpy oblong girth
Covered by skirts of brown
Submerged into earth, curt
Bruised by hurdles of youth
Sprites of white dispersed through
Eyes scrutinizing and hiding,
Inside—steep heaps of hurt
Sweet supple endearment
Curdling cushions of milky minds
Ever arise with effort for demise
Crunching, stuffing, cuffed sighs
Aligned with bitter lines of fluttery foliage
Lush leaves thumb to breathe
Fumbling to be discovered revealed
But certain repulsion suffers silently
Quietly adhering, invisibly sizzling in sunlight
A surface so aware, careless and cold
Resolve held blend in and bleed out
